Arsenal looking to bring in the future Cesc Fabregas
Arsene Wenger, who over the years has proven to have a rather keen eye for the young and upcoming talents in the world of football, seems to be at his best again. The manager is reported to have shown a keen interest in an upcoming player, who he claims
to be the future Cesc Fabregas and considering the player is going to develop to be as good as the Arsenal captain, the manager wants to make sure the player doesn't end up joining any other team.
The player that Wenger has got his eyes set on this time around, is Espanyol's emerging and upcoming super star Raul Baena. The player who has spent his recent career in the Spanish La Liga, has been in rather impressive form and as a result he now finds
himself being targeted by one of footballs greatest clubs.
Baena who is currently only 21 years old, has been recently linked to an array of footballing clubs across Europe. Howeverm most of the teams that the player had been linked to in the past were in the La Liga of Spain and included the likes of Valencia and
Villareal.
The player took time to confirm a spot in Wengers list of potential players to sign since the players development was halted last season after he picked up an injury last season, which ruled him out of action for a couple of months. However, the player has
returned to first team action recently and is now looking as good as he has ever been.
Baena just like Fabregas learnt most of his trade in the youth ranks of Barcelona. The midfielder was a part of the Barcelona youth team for nearly four years before he made the move the Espanyol team. Since the player is currently not cup tied, or a part
of any negotiations he could be brought into Arsenal, as early as January.
What sets Baena apart from most of the other young midfielders out there, is his technique, keen eye for goal and imaginative passing. He also has the versatility factor working for him, since he can pretty much play in any position in the mid field.
A move for the player to the Emirates could prove to be just what the player needed to get done in order to get his career a kick start. Along with that Arsenal would acquire another long term prospect at the club, which would only help Arsenal remain a
dominant force for even longer than expected.
