Arsenal looking to make move for Valencia’s Juan Mata – Premier League Update
In a dramatic turn of events, it now seems like Arsenal are looking to move in to make an attempt to landing http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Juan-c19640 Mata.
The winger/forward has been linked with a move away from the club for a couple of weeks now and it seems like his brilliant performances all season long with Valencia, have caught the Gunners eyes.
The Spanish international is reportedly not willing to discuss his future until later next month, but, that doesn’t seem to have stopped Arsenal officials from making an approach for the player. The Gunner’s representatives have apparently sought out the
player’s agent, who also happens to be his father, in order to try and wrap up a deal within the next couple of weeks.
Mata signed for Valencia from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Real-c30728 Madrid in 2007 and has since then been one of the best players on display for the Spanish club.
Mata can play as both a winger and an attacking midfielder. So far the player has managed to make two hundred and eleven appearances for Valencia, while finding the back of the net, on fifty six occasions.
Apparently, the Gunners are willing to make a massive eighteen million pound bid for the player, which if true, would mean that the team is willing to spend the most amount of cash that they have ever spent on a single player.
At the same time, one can’t help but wonder, if Mata is going to be the long term/ or even the immediate replacement for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Andrei-Arshavin-c5771 at the Emirates.
Nonetheless, in order for Arsenal to make a move for Mata, they are going to have to convince the player that a move to the Emirates is a far better choice, then making a move to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809.
The Reds were previously being hailed as the favourites to secure Mata’s capture and the forward even went on to state that he wouldn’t mind making the switch to Anfield.
However, as it stands, Arsenal are willing to offer Valencia far more cash than Liverpool. The Red are apparently only willing to provide around ten million pounds in cash, along with a player to try and compensate for the difference.
Due to the poorly thought out plan which, Liverpool have made in their attempt to secure Mata it seems like Arsenal might just be the favourites to land the Spaniard.
At the moment, if everything goes according to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429’s plan, then they could land the player as early as next week.
