Arsenal looking to make moves for Gary Cahill and Daniele De Rossi – Premier League Update
Over the course of the last couple of weeks, Arsenal have gone on to reveal that their defensive weaknesses are a little too much for the team to bear and this in turn has caused the Gunners to falter time and time again.
This past weekend, when Arsenal went on to lose to Blackburn http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Rovers-c40385, it just proved to be a new all time low for the team. The prime reason for that being the fact, that Blackburn were sitting at the bottom of the Premier League table and the game against Arsenal was supposed to be Steve Kean’s last game in charge of the club.
However, following two own goals, Arsenal went on to suffer a four goals to three defeat to the Rovers and are now looking more volatile than they have ever been.
As a result, it is believed that Arsene Wenger is now looking to make a swoop in the transfer market and sign both http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Gary-Cahill-c14439 and Daniele De Rossi, once the transfer window opens up in January.
Cahill has been on the Gunners radar for quite some time now, but the team just weren’t able to strike up a deal for him in the summers. As a result, they might just be looking to sign him for free in January, given his contract with Bolton Wanderers is set to expire.
At the same time, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roma-c31603 offer him a new contract, which he accepts, he could also be on his way out of the club for a free.
Both Cahill and De Rossi are being pursued by a number of teams in the Premier League and this is going to make it very hard for Arsenal to land either player, given the way they are playing these days.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 are currently all over the place and need to produce some decent results if they are to stand any chance of landing the duo. Should the team fail to do so, then they are more than likely to fail in their attempts to land the defensive duo.
