The http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Olympique-Lyonnais-c40130 goalkeeper has impressed Arsene Wenger who is looking to bring the player to the Emirates for next season
English Premier League side, Arsenal FC are keen on acquiring the services of France international Hugo Lloris. The 25-year-old custodian is currently under contract at Ligue 1 side Olympique Lyonnais.
The Gunners manager, Arsene Wenger has made the Frenchman’s signing one of his priorities this summer in order to have a trustworthy keeper in response to the shortcomings of Polish shot-stopper http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Wojciech-Szczesny-c36998.
Arsenal have indeed made strong waves in the transfer market after completing the signings of German international http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Lukas-Podolski-c22896 and France international Olivier Giroud from Cologne and Montpellier Herault respectively.
The Gunners will be competing for the Premier League title next season and are also looking to be a force in the Champions League.
However, it appears that the Londoners are not willing to pay more than 15 million Euros for the services of the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899 number 1. L’Equipe reports that Olympique Lyonnais president, Jean-Michel Aulas has fixed Lloris’ price at 25 million euros and will not
start negotiations unless a club makes an initial bid of 20 million euros.
“it’s a good market output which was evident by how much Manchester United and Bayern Munich paid last year,” says Aulas citing the signatures of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/David-de-Gea-c10463 last season.
Aulas says that he is willing to wait until July 15 to finalise a possible departure for Les Gones captain.
Therefore, the Gunners know what they need to do in order to acquire Lloris’ services. However, the question remains that will Arsenal be willing to spend so much again? After formalising the signings of Olivier Giroud and Lukas Podolski, Arsenal have already
spent 23 million euros and will not be looking to go big again.
Even if they want to sign Lloris, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Robin-van-Persie-c31380 and Theo Walcott’s future is uncertain. The duo’s contracts expire next year which means that Arsene Wenger may have to sell either of the two players.
One thing is clear though. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Hugo-Lloris-c16408 is very much inclined towards making a move to the French colony in London.
