Arsenal’s manager, Arsene Wenger, asserts that the Gunners will fight till the very last league match

Arsenal boss, Arsene Wenger, has asserted that the Gunners will keep on fighting till the last match of the ongoing 2010-11 season and has urged his players to never give up following Arsenal’s demoralising and dramatic draw against Liverpool at Emirates
Stadium on Sunday.
Arsene Wenger said, “The players are very disappointed. Who wouldn't be? The hope is always there but, to keep the hope alive, it is up to us to win our games and to win our next game. We are on a 15-game unbeaten run, but recently we have not taken enough
points. Now we must give everything until the last game of the season and see if it is our year or not”.
Arsenal is currently placed second in the Barclays Premier League table and is aiming to win their first title since 2003-04.
However, the Gunners’ title aspirations suffered a huge blow when Liverpool managed a draw at Emirates, which is also Arsenal’s third consecutive home draw.
Despite dominating most of the game, Arsenal failed to find a breakthrough against the determined http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 defence.
However, Arsenal was awarded a penalty in the injury time, which http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Robin-van-Persie-c31380 converted to put the Gunners ahead.
But, that lead lasted only for a few seconds as the Gunners conceded a penalty on the other end when Emmanuel Eboue fouled http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Lucas-c22528 inside the 18-yard box.

Arsene Wenger expressed his disappointment over the penalty decision given against Arsenal as he believed that the spot kick was given well after the original added time.
Wenger said, “We conceded a penalty after 11 minutes when the referee said there was eight minutes of injury time. I don't see where those three minutes came from and it was no penalty”.
Arsenal will play their next match against their local rivals, Tottenham Hotspur, at White Hart Lane and the Gunners would have to claim a victory in the North London derby in order to keep their title hopes alive.
