Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger faces extend UEFA touchline ban
It has been revealed that Arsene Wenger will now be facing an extended ban, which has been issued to him by UEFA.
The manager is already serving a one game touchline ban, following his reactions against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 last season. However, during the time that he was supposed to be banned and needed to stay away from the Gunners during their Champions League game, he was
spotted passing instructions to his assistant via a cellular phone.
The UEFA disciplinary body has decided that these actions that have been carried out by the manager are not acceptable and will now see him face another two game ban.
As a result, the manager is now going to be banned from the upcoming match against Udinese and should Arsenal make it through to the group stage, he will have to sit out another game or two.
A statement released by UEFA highlighting this ban, based on Wenger’s actions is reported to have said: "The UEFA Control and Disciplinary Body has suspended manager Arsène Wenger from carrying out his duties at Arsenal FC's next two UEFA competition matches.”

"Today's decision was taken in relation to the Arsenal manager not abiding by the decision of the Control and Disciplinary Body during the English club's UEFA Champions League play-off game against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Udinese-Calcio-c40789 last Tuesday, 16 August.

"Wenger is therefore suspended for Arsenal's second-leg match against Udinese in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Italy-c2926 on Wednesday and then the next UEFA competition fixture for which he would be eligible.”
These actions by UEFA, if anything seem to be a bit harsh on Wenger and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429. It is not the first time that a manager has passed on messages to his team via a cell phone and considering the fact that the manager wasn’t physically present in the dugout,
it’s a wonder as to what UEFA are playing at.
Wenger is more than likely to contest this charge against him, but chances are he is going to be turned down by UEFA and be forced to see out the rest of his ban.
