Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger looking to make a number of signings before end of transfer window
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has gone on to admit that he is very active in the transfer window at the moment, as he is looking to bring in a  number of players, before the end of the transfer window.
The manager went on to make these comments following his sides win over Udinese and after expressing his delight over making the group stages of the Champions League, he reassured the Gunners fans that there would be some signings before the start of the
coming month.
The North London club have lost two of their best players in the shape of Cesc Fabregas and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Samir-Nasri-c32360. As a result, the team is kind of depleted and really needs some reinforcements. Despite beating Udinese last night, there is no doubt over the fact that
a number of signings have to be made by the team, in order to be half decent over the course of the season.
The manager went on to admit that the win over Udinese was very important for the Gunners from a financial point of view, as it would help them land better players and would also help the team out financially.
Wenger is reported to have said:
“If we had gone out tonight, of course it would have been much worse for the team to play in a certain way.
“It was very important, not so much financially, but more for the fact we want to play at the top level.”
He then went on to admit that there were many signings that were going to take place in the near future, but for reasons that he wasn’t willing to explain, he refused to name any of those targets.
“There may be signings but I cannot give you any names tonight.”
Having said that, he then went on to admit that the signings would be made over a number of days and not over night.
"I cannot lie and say we will sign someone tomorrow because it’s not true. We are trying very hard.”
Wenger then went on to state that what everyone had been wanting him to say for quite some time. The manager admitted that he would have to spend to try and replace the quality of talent that he lost, as there was no other alternative.
"I am not against spending the money, but it is necessary to be conscious of the level of the players whom we lost - it will be difficult to find others of that level”
All in all, it seems like http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 might finally be on its way back up within the next few days.
