Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger was happy to witness ‘passion’ in Robin van Persie and Abou Diaby’s fight
Arsenal's boss, Arsene Wenger, has claimed that he was delighted to see the ‘passion and hunger for the title’ in Robin van Persie and Abou Diaby’s fight in a win over Blackpool at Bloomfield Road last weekend.
It was earlier reported that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Robin-van-Persie-c31380 and Abou Diaby were involved in a fight during the half time team talk.
The Dutch striker was not happy with Abou Diaby for getting a silly yellow card after the Frenchman cleared the ball into the stands despite hearing referee’s whistle.
Arsene Wenger said, “They are two good http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Friends-football-club-c39381 first of all, who get on very well. Van Persie was concerned about Diaby getting a yellow card and what would happen if he got a second ... we all know what happened at Newcastle [when Diaby was sent off]”.
“Diaby accepted it and said OK. Of course, I’m pleased [about the passion]. I never was worried about the mentality of the team. This team is focused. Unfortunately we have been hit very hard but we have not been out of every competition early on having
not performed”, added, the Arsenal manager.

It was almost certain that Arsenal would emerge victors at St. James Park but a straight red card to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Abou-c3451 Diaby in the second
half changed the course of the game.
Diaby was shown a straight red for his angry reaction towards the opposition's player after being victim of a rash tackle.
