Arsenal manger Arsene Wenger likes the looks of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Real-c30728 Madrid forward Karim Benzema
Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger has gone on to state that he thoroughly admires Real Madrid forward and French international, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Karim-Benzema-c20350.
Wenger, who happened to try and land the striker, prior to his move to Real Madrid, seems to be trying his luck with his latest comments, to try and lure the forward to the Emirates.
The twenty three year old forward is being hailed as one of the favourites to part ways with the Spanish club at the end of the season and from the looks of things, North London might just be one of his possible destinations.
Wenger if anything is known for being a miser in the transfer windows. However, from the looks of things, the manager might finally be ready to break his policy and go all out this time around.
When the manager was asked if he would be breaking his policy, to lure the forward into the club, he responded by stating: "Viewed from the outside, it doesn't seem impossible today”
The Gunners boss then cut to the chase and it made it rather clear as to how much he appreciated Benzema. He then went on to add: "He's a player that I like.
"I think he's intelligent in his movement, I think he is capable of combining well and making a difference, and of doing individual moves as well. So, for me he's a player who's at the top level in the world."
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Robin-van-Persie-c31380, however he just can’t seem to play out an entire season, without picking
up an injury of some sort along the way. As a result, the team is desperate to bring in a player, who is used to playing at the highest of levels and happens to have little to no injury record in the past.
Madrid’s manager, Jose Mourinho has also gone on to state in the past that his least favourite striker at the Bernabeu is none other, than Benzema. This leads us to believe, that the forward if anything, is surplus to requirements at the club.
According to most experts, should Wenger play his cards right, he might just be able to get his hands on the French striker.
However, it is now going to be a wait to see just what the manager is willing to offer Madrid in exchange for the striker. With the club having shown interests in want away full-back, Gael Clichy in the past, perhaps a cash plus player deal might just be
in the works.
