He said, “I am honoured to be captain at such a young age. It's come as a bit of a surprise, a nice one. I am just happy that I have this opportunity and hopefully now I can lead by example in the way I play.”
“We know I am not a screamer or a shouter but it's not just me, there are 10 other guys who could be captain of this side. This is one of the biggest games we could play as professional footballers and it will be a special occasion for me to lead the team
out in front of a full house,” added Ramsey.

of Manchester City.
It seems like Aston Villa centre-back James Collin could be highly affected by Speed’s decision as the defender expressed his desire to captain Wales earlier in the week. However, Aaron Ramsey wants Wales’ former captains and experienced players to support
him and help him in beating England.
Aaron Ramsey has recently returned to Arsenal from a horrific double leg injury which he suffered in their match against Stoke City in February 2010. The Welsh midfielder had short loan stints at Nottingham Forest and Cardiff City in order to get match fitness.
The 20-year-old was given his first Premier League match since then in Arsenal’s recent 2-2 draw with West Bromwich Albion.
Ramsey, who has represented Wales only 11 times in the past, will become one of the youngest players in the world to skipper a national team.
