Arsenal midfielder Andrei Arshavin says run-in to season favours the Gunners – EPL news
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Andrei-Arshavin-c5771 believes that his side faces a less difficult schedule as compared to their rivals in the English Premier League title race.
At present, Manchester United are on top of the EPL standings with 63 points. Arsenal are placed second and trail the Red Devils by just 5 points with a game in hand.

Arsenal have not won any Championship for more than six years now and their hopes of bringing silverware to the Emirates Stadium was dealt a major blow as they crashed out of three competitions in quick succession recently.
Defeats at the hands of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 and Manchester United in the UEFA Champions League and FA Cup respectively saw them exit the competitions empty handed. To add to their woes, the Gunners lost to Birmingham City in the final of the Carling Cup.
Arshavin feels disappointed that his side is out of major competitions but maintains that less hectic schedule will help prepare them well for the Premier League title.
“I think our schedule is not so bad, that is why if we win all our games we have a good chance to be champions. I think everyone in our team would prefer to have more possibilities than only one trophy, but everything is in the past, that is why we have
to concentrate on the Premier League matches,” said the Russian. “Straight after it was very difficult for everyone, but now we have come back after the internationals and have refreshed our minds and maybe it will help us. I think we are in the race.”
On the other hand, Manchester United are going for the treble and face a difficult round of games ahead.
It appears as if the ongoing 2010-11 season of the Premier League will go right down to the wire as there are still some crunch matches left in the campaign- most importantly the one between the Red Devils and Arsenal on 1 May, 2011.
