Arsenal midfielder Denilson not heading to AC Milan – Premier League Update
Arsenal’s Brazilian midfielder, Denilson has been linked with a move out of the Emirates, for well over a month now. In the most recent set of rumours, the player was linked with a move to Italian club, AC Milan.
However, as it stands, that will not be the case anymore. According to the twenty three year olds agent, the midfielder has not heard from the Rossoneri and so far there has been no contact from Milan, over the possibility of Denilson
joining the San Siro.
Gerardo Santiago, the player’s agent, is quoted to have said: "I know nothing of AC Milan's interest. I think at the moment these are only rumours.
"The only certainty right now is that Denilson will be at training with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 on July 7th.
"Are Spanish and other Italian clubs chasing him? Currently there are no negotiations.
"With Wenger we often talk about other issues, but we have never touched on the topic of a possible departure for Denilson."
Denilson joined the Gunners way back in 2006, but has since found it close to impossible to finding a regular spot in the Arsenal, starting eleven. Denilson spent most part of last season on the bench for the Gunners and with the likes of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Jack-Wilshere-c17463 and
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Aaron-Ramsey-c3065 finally starting to emerge as world class talents, there seems to be little hope for Denilson at the Emirates, on the long run.
The midfielder recently went on to burst out and state that he wished to part ways with the club, since spending time on the bench was beginning to get to him. He also went on to add that the lack of silverware, was like a constant thorn in his side and
in order for him to better hone his http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Skills-c40539 and reach his true potential, he would have to part ways with the team.
So far, there have been no concrete offers for the midfielder, however, with him already having stated that he wants to be heading out, it is only a matter of time before his dream becomes a reality.
