Arsenal have been put in red alert, as Eden Hazard’s father has confirmed of the interest from Tottenham Hotspur.
Hazard had come forth on Monday and claimed that Tottenham were also interested in landing him, but no formal offer had been made for the player.
The Belgian international then admitted that he thought Tottenham were a decent team, who he could potentially play for.
Hazard’s father has now come forth and revealed that Tottenham have indeed talked to the player about a potential move and is quoted to have said: “For now I can only say what Eden said on Monday on TV: Yes, there is interest from Spurs, and no, there’s
no offer.”
At the same time, he also claimed that his son could consider moving to a lesser club, should that guarantee him a starting eleven spot.
He then went on to add: “The priority for Eden is one thing: games. Opportunities. It might be better to join a club just below the biggest.”
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 have been in the hunt for Hazard for over two seasons now, but so far the club have failed to make a formal approach for the player.
Now with Tottenham seemingly leading the race to land the player, the Gunners are going to have to find a way to beat their local rivals to the Belgian’s signature.
Hazard considers playing in the starting eleven as a priority at this point, so all the Gunners need to do is assure the forward that he would get to start for the team, should he be fit for a game.
At the same time, Hazard has repeatedly admitted to wanting to make a move to the Emirates and should the Gunners be able to meet any offer that is made for the forward, they could potentially see the player chose them, over the others.
Nonetheless, it is now going to be a long and hard wait till the end of the season to see just what team steps up the chase to land the highly talented attacker and what team he ends up joining in the end.
The only thing that can be said assuredly at this point, is that Hazard is going to be on the move once the transfer window opens.
Despite that fact, it is still unclear as to where he would be headed.
