It is believed that Arsenal have finally come to terms with the fact that they could lose http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Robin-van-Persie-c31380 and as a result, the team is going to be looking to profit off, of his sale.
The Dutch goal scoring machine is currently in his last contractual year with the North London club and he is yet to put pen to paper on a contract extension. With the forward not really making his intentions clear, many fear that he could end up leaving
the team in search of personal glory.
Previously, the Gunners seemed to be rather reluctant on watching their star player leave the team. However, with him not really making up his mind, they have come to terms with the fact that they could lose him in the near future. As a result, they are
now looking to prepare for a potential future without the striker.
The North London club has gone on to complete the capture of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Lukas-Podolski-c22896 and Olivier Giroud this summer and many fear they did so, because they secretly knew that Van Persie was going to be leaving the club.
However, based on the comments released by Giroud, he insisted that he was signed to play alongside Van Persie and that he didn’t come to the team to replace the attacker.
Despite all these claims, Manchester City and Barcelona are being considered as the favourites to land the player.
City are more than willing to pay over the top for the player, despite him being in the last year of his contract with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 and would also chip in with some ridiculous wages.
On the other hand, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 can offer the player personal glory and medals, but they can’t guarantee him playing time or a starting role in the team.
Nonetheless, it might be too early to predict what the striker might do, but should he not come out and make his intentions clear, it would be safe to assume that he is on his way out of the Emirates.
It is now going to be an interesting wait to see just where Van Persie ends up going, or if he decides to commit his future to the Gunners.
