Arsenal sign French midfielder Samir Nasri for a new 5-year contract
When Dark November came early to Arsenal in the starting months of this season, it was thought that the Gunners would flump to one of their worst performances in history; as they collapse to the horror of playing new players in their first team.
However, all that was prevented from happening as a young French prodigy, Samir Nasri changed their fate by stepping in. Even though their captain Cesc Fabregas was out injured leaving a massive void as he had often proved to be the backbone of Arsenal’s
midfield and attack, it was lad from this young team that stepped up to fill the gigantic boots of his world class Spanish skipper.
Though Nasri’s veins are pumped full of talented blood of a midfielder, the star has yet to prove himself that his importance to the team is as valuable as Fabregas. Nonetheless, the Frenchman has taken step one of that journey while proving to the world
that he should not be underestimated; as his impeccable control of the ball along with finesse finishing and deep insight in the midfield is better than many.
Now after his latest goal in the last fixture of Arsenal, the men in suits from North London have finally realized that Nasri is not a player who should be laid off from their squad therefore after negotiations they have made him sign a new long term deal.

The 23-year-old attacking midfielder is considered to be one of Arsenal’s best players this season, after having performed brilliantly in English Premier League along with other competitions. He has already scored 6 goals for them in all competitions and it
is expected that his excellent form will see him score many more this season.
According to reports the present deal of Nasri was going to expire in 2012 therefore the time seemed ripe for Arsenal’s manager, Arsene Wenger to convince the former Olympique Marseille player to put pen on paper for a new 5-year contract.

It is known that Arsene Wenger never lets the contracts of his players near an end. One reason behind this is considered to be the availability of players to another club. For instance if the contract of a player is being run out then other clubs would approach
him with offers and present him with better options and wages.
To prevent this manipulation, Wenger has admitted that he is always careful when thinking about the future of his players. He believes that there is a reason he has brought them to his club and unless and until they are not fulfilling their objective, he
obviously will not lose them to another party.
This concern in many cases rules out his players as a potential transfer target. What is left from there is to present that the player and club have mutual agreement and happiness on their pact. This ultimately ruins chances of other clubs signing in players
from the ‘Professor’.
