Arsenal striker Theo Walcott believes the Gunners will win Barclays Premier League in ongoing season
Arsenal winger http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Theo-Walcott-c34873 strongly feels that the Gunners have the strength and depth to win the Barclays Premier League in the ongoing 2010-11 season and will end their six-year trophy drought at Emirates.
Walcott said, “I think this year we've got that experience that any failures from the past won't happen again. We need to win the Premier League. There is a confidence in the camp - and I believe we will be champions, I really do believe it. I'm very confident,
you've got to be. If you're not confident, then there's something wrong completely.”

points to their name from 30 games. The Gunners are seven points adrift of League leaders Manchester United but they still have a game in hand.
Arsene Wenger’s men have not won a single piece of silverware in the last six years and their last trophy was the FA Cup in 2005 when they defeated Manchester United on penalties. Moreover, the Gunners won their last Premier League title in the 2003-04 season,
when Arsenal’s famous ‘Invincibles’ team finished the season unbeaten.
Recently, Arsenal looked well on track of ending their trophy drought as they were the only team in Europe which was aiming for a trophy quadruple. However, the Gunners’ recent dip in form resulted in their elimination from three competitions within a month.

Arsenal’s hopes of winning the silverware are now fully tied to the Premier League crown but their recent poor results, which included draws against West Bromwich Albion and Blackburn Rovers, means their season is already over.
However, the Gunners still have an outside chance of overcoming Manchester United but for that, they have to win against Sir Alex Ferguson’s men when they host them on 1 May, 2011.
