Amidst rumours linking the midfielder to Arsenal, Santos president Luis http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Álvaro-c5280 Ribeiro has revealed that Ganso could be on his way out of the club in the summer.
The Brazilian has gone on to turn down a contract extension offer from the club and based on that, it is believed that the highly reputed player wants to continue his trade elsewhere.
The president is quoted to have said: "I think Ganso has just as many chances to stay at Santos as any other player. I am calm. He has a contract until 2015 and he needs to play for other clubs to be interested and make generous offers for him.”

"If he under-performs, he will be rated by the market as a player who does not perform like everyone expected. So our interests and his interests go hand-in-hand.”
He then revealed no one had bid for the player as yet, while highlighting the fact that Internacional had also not made an offer for the player.

"No one from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Santos-c32532 or the player. But it is clear they would like to have someone like him."
The Gunners are currently looking to a*s some reinforcements to their midfield. The team wants to try and build on last season’s run in and in order to do so they need to bring in  just the right players to strengthen their squad.
The team has already prepared for the imminent loss of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Lukas-Podolski-c22896.
However, with most of their midfielders constantly suffering from injuries, the team could definitely use some helping hands in the middle of the park.
Ganso has proven his worth over the last couple of years with Santos and for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Brazil-c2858. The midfielder has often been linked to some of the top European clubs around, but so far a move for the player has constantly failed to materlazie.
Nonetheless, with the player now ready to leave the club and Santos accepting the fact that he is going to be on his way out, it seems like the ideal time for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 to swoop in and make a tempting offer for the Brazilian.
