Arsenal to be without Laurent Koscielny, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Gervinho-c14755 against Olympiakos
It seems like http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Laurent-Koscielny-c21742 as the defender has now been reported to have picked up an injury during the pre match training.
Koscielny was going to be filling in at the centre back position along with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Johan-Djourou-c18779 are already injured and hence Arsene
Wenger might be looking to use http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alex-Song-c4804 or Miquel as a temporary fill in.
Song has recently gotten drastically good at his http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Job-c18684 in the centre of the park and his movement away to the back could cause the team more harm, than do them any good. At the same time, Miquel is rather inexperienced, but this game could prove to be his
shot at making a name for himself in the Gunners locker room.
However, that is not where the bad news stops for the Gunners. Both Theo Walcott and Gervinho are more than likely to miss out on the game, which means that Wenger will once again have to resort to using the younger players at the team.
This could once again be the opportunity that the likes of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alex-c4752 Oxlade-Chamberlain and Ryo Miyaichi have been waiting for.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Jack-Wilshere-c17463 was forced to start for Arsenal in very similar conditions last season, but we all know how that turned out for the team and the player.
Given that Wenger has a very sharp eye, when it comes to such situations, it is safe to say that the manager has a plan or two up his sleeve, which he is going to be using.
Nonetheless, it is now a wait till the game to see just what players Wenger decides to field against Olympiakos.
