Arsenal to offer Robin Van Persie in hopes of retaining the striker - Premier League Update
It is being reported that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 are looking to tie up their loose ends, as they look to offer a number of players new contracts in order to retain their services and ensure that no one leaves the club at the end of their contract.
At the moment the three players that the team seems to be focusing on are http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Robin-van-Persie-c31380.
Arsenal’s chief executive http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ivan-c17215 Gazidis seems to have asked Richard Law to conduct the negotiations and has given Richard’s the permission to plead with the players in order to get them to put pen to paper. As a result, it seems like Arsenal will cave into
almost any demands that the players make, as long as they decide to stick around.
Van Persie has recently gone on to cast a massive shadow over his future at the club and many believe the player is looking to walk out of the club. The striker has sold his house in London and is yet to confirm his desire to stay at the club. Instead, Van
Persie constantly states that he has served Arsenal like a loyal soldier and will decide his future when the time is right.
When talking about his future at the club, Van Persie is quoted to have said: “I still have almost two years until 2013.

“So, for the moment, that’s fine, but I don’t know. We will have to look. I’m happy with my contract, I’m good. That’s how it is, I can’t say much more. I can’t look into the future.”
On the other hand, Theo Walcott has been linked with a move out of Arsenal for the last season or two. The player is yet to fulfil his potential at the club, but the way things are going at the club, it seems he might get a little too frustrated as he walks
out of the club.
Previously http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 was reported to be interested in the player and the Blues were apparently ready to make a bid worth around twenty million pounds for the striker.
There has been no follow up on that situation since the summers and hence it is a wait to see just what happens with Walcott.
Lastly, Vermaelen seems to be picking up an injury every now and then and with him not being very satisfied with the medical staff at the Emirates, he might just be tempted to move away, in order to receive better medical attention.
Nonetheless, with Arsenal looking to step up their negotiations, it is going to be a wait to see just what the players decide to do in the future.
