Arsenal to finalize Gervinho deal
It seems like Arsenal are finally closing in on making their first signing of the season. The team is reportedly on the brink of confirming the capture of Ivory Coast international and Lille forward, Gervinho.
Lille President, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Michel-c25453 Seydoux has recently gone on to confirm that Gervinho has himfesl admitted that he wants to play for the Gunners and the only thing that is now left to do, is for the two teams to reach to a mutual agreement over the transfer.
Seydoux is quoted to have said: "I have spoken with Gervinho and he wants to play for Arsenal next season. This is clear but now we must get an agreement between the two clubs.
"We have maintained contact but still the Londoners have not presented us with a formal offer.
"Negotiations are ongoing but Gervinho has demanded a solution to the situation soon."

Manchester United join Arsenal in hunt for Thiago Alcantara
Arsenal have been linked with a move for Barcelona prodigy, Thiago Alcantara for quite some time now. In fact, at one point it was believed that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 would offer Arsenal, in exchange for Cesc Fabregas.
However, it now seems like Manchester United are fancying a move for young Spaniard.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alex-c4752 Ferguson was apparently overwhelmed by the performance that the player put in the Under-21 Euro Championships and decided to make a formal approach for the player.
The Red Devils are reportedly willing to offer as much as fifteen million pounds for the Catalan and will be willing to offer a fringe player as part of the deal.
Nonetheless, it seems like Barcelona are a little reluctant on letting United get a hold of Thiago, as they would much rather sell him to a team that isn’t a direct rival in the UEFA Champions League.

Liverpool are looking to step up their chase for Blackpool http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Jonjo-Shelvey-c19081 as part of the deal.
The Reds are looking to offer Blackpool the services of Shelvey on a yearlong loan deal, should Blackpool let Adam make his way to Anfield.
It is still unclear as to how Blackpool are going to react to this offer, but, it seems like the best deal they have received for Adam as yet.
