Arsenal willing to let Cesc Fabregas leave for Barcelona – only if the price is right
In a dramatic turn of events, it now seems like Arsenal might just be willing to let captain Cesc Fabregas leave for Barcelona.
The twenty four year old Spanish World Cup winner, has been linked with a move back to the club that he played for as a child and it seems like he is practically back in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Spain-c3011 every transfer window.
Nonetheless, this season might just prove to be the breakthrough season for the Catalans. The Spanish club have already had one offer rejected for the player, but, they are expected to make another approach for the midfielder within the coming weeks.
The Gunners seems to finally have realized that if Barcelona are to pay the estimated fee for the player, then a move away for Fabregas might just be what’s better for the North London club on the long run.
A senior official at the Emirates, when talking about the Fabregas saga and the initial bid from Barcelona is quoted to have said: "The offer was made formally in writing to our chief executive (http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ivan-c17215 Gazidis), and we said no straight away."
The official was then asked if the Gunners were ready for a new and improved bid for the midfielder, to which he responded by stating: "Possibly yes, and if it's enough then I expect we'll have to sell."
However, contrary to the Arsenal officials mind set, it seems like http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Sandro-c32460 Rosell, when talking about Fabregas and his market value, is quoted to have said:
"It is clear that this year his value is less."
There are a number of reasons that we can identify, which would help us believe that Fabregas is soon to be on his way out of the club. Every time in the past, when Barcelona made a move for the player, the Gunners went on to release a statement, which stated
that their captain was not for sale, however, that is yet to happen this time around.
Another major reason which we can take into consideration is the fact that Fabregas’s image was nowhere to be seen when http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 launched their away kit for the upcoming season. The Captain has always been a part of the team’s club photo shoots, however,
this time around; he was excluded from it altogether.
Most Arsenal fans are quite possible not happy with what is happening regarding their http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Captain-c8314, but, it seems like the ball is now in Barcelona’s court.
