Arsenal winger Andrei Arshavin has claimed that the Gunners can still win the Barclays Premier League title in the ongoing 2010-11 season and end their six-year trophy drought despite enduring a poor run in form for the last two months.

Arshavin feels that the Gunners’ win over Ian Holloway’s men has given a clear cut
messaged that they are fully prepared to fight for the Premier League crown till the last day.
Arshavin also hailed the character of his team and management and claimed that every single person at Arsenal is high on confidence to lift the Barclays Premier League by the end of the season.
The Russian was very impressed by the quality of game played by Blackpool but insisted that Arsenal were the deserved winners.
Arshavin told Arsenal's official website, “Arsene [Wenger] wants to be first. Just like the whole team. Blackpool played well. They were attacking dangerously, creating problems for us in defence. But we did a good job, managed to deal with their threats
and scored two goals.”
“In addition, we had several good chances, but never used them. It's great that we could catch them on the counter-attacks, scored a third goal, and earned three points,” added the Russian.
Arsenal have not won any competition since 2005 and they lifted their last Barclays Premier League trophy when the famous ‘Invincible’ Arsenal team finished the whole season unbeaten in 2003-04.
Arsenal would now have to win all their remaining games in order to overcome the League leaders Manchester United. The Gunners are seven points adrift of Sir Alex Ferguson’s men but they have a game in hand.
Moreover, Arsenal have yet to play Manchester United at Emirates on 1st May, which is also tipped as a season defining fixture for both clubs. The Gunners’ title aspirations are more likely to be decided in the coming week as they will play high
