Arsenal winger, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 international believes that Benzema would be a great addition to the Gunners squad.
It has not been smooth sailing for Karim Benzema at Real Madrid. The striker came to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Spain-c3011 in 2009 for a transfer fee of around 35 million Euros, carrying with him a huge reputation from his time with French club, Lyon. At one time, he was even compared
to French legend, Zinedine Zidane. However, he has had difficulty in carrying over his deadly form from the French League to the La Liga.
Since the arrival of manager Jose Mourinho, the Frenchman has had to fight for his place in the starting eleven. Though Benzema had lost favour with the ‘Special One’ early on, he is slowly earning back Mourinho’s trust. The striker produced a strong finish
to the 2010/11 La Liga season, and he seems to be getting his touch back.
English Premier League club, Arsenal, are currently looking for a striker to bolster their weak attack. Benzema is just the kind of player they need to overcome their problems in front of goal. The Frenchman has the killer instinct that the Gunners lack,
and his abilities on the pitch will undoubtedly serve the Gunners well should he choose to move to the Emirates Stadium.
Arsenal’s Theo Walcott said on the matter, “Its always nice to see new additions to the squad but maybe one player will attract more players and keep players. I've heard rumours of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Real-c30728 Madrid. Someone like that would help you hold on to
your best players, get the crowd on their feet as well. The boss knows what he's doing and he says he is going to spend so it will be interesting."
However, it seems as though Arsenal will have to make do without Benzema for the foreseeable future. The striker has claimed that he has no intention of leaving Real Madrid in the summer transfer window.
Real Madrid finished the 2010/11 La Liga campaign in second place. They also lifted the Copa del Rey crown this season.
