Arsenal youngster Benik Afobe hails Arsene Wenger’s activities in the transfer marker
Arsenal youngster Benik Afobe has gone on to praise Arsene Wenger and his activities in the summers transfer window.
Wenger went on to go against his reputation of not going ahead and signing players during the summers, as he went on to make a number of signings, including the recruitment of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Yossi-Benayoun-c37520 on the deadline
day of the transfer window.
These actions by the manager have come as a refreshing surprise to most, who didn’t think he possessed the mindset to make so many signings in one go.
However, Arsenal’s eighteen year old youngster, Afobe seems to amongst the few people who have gone on to feel that these actions taken by the manager are nothing short of being extraordinary.
When talking about Wenger, Afobe is quoted to have said: "I think the boss has done a very good http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Job-c18684 with these signings – maybe even better than people expected.”
The youngster then went on to admit that these new signings were quite brilliant, as the manager went on to bring in players, who had plenty of experience and talent, which would help the Gunners perform much better than they were currently performing.
“It’s good that the boss has bought some more experienced players. We know what they can do and the way they play is very good. I've been watching Arteta and Benayoun for five years, and it's good that they have come from other English clubs because you
know that they are proven in the Premier League.”
He then admitted that the new recruits would have no difficulty in fitting right into the Gunners line up, since they possessed the Arsenal DNA and this would help them become great additions to the squad.
"We know they are going to fit in well - they are Arsenal kind of players and they are going to be great additions to the squad."
These new additions to the Gunners squad are quite brilliant, but at the same time, they are going to make Arsenal perform a whole lot different when compared to how they have been playing currently.
Arteta and Benayoun are not going to be replacing Fabregas and Nasri, since both the players are quite different in terms of their playing styles. As a result, the Gunners will now be looking to adapt to these new signings.
However, with these new recruits now in the squad, the younger players like Afobe are going to have to really impress Wenger, if they are to stand any chance of breaking into the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 first team.
