Arsenal’s Arsene Wenger went hard on Real Madrid’s Jose
The flames of an on–going controversy between UEFA officials and Jose Mourinho had reached another level, when legends of the game and all the Hall-of-Famers (Wenger and Maradona for instance) started commenting and speculating over the issue. It has now started a never ending debate, especially, when FC Real Madrid Coach Arsene Wenger gave the unproved verdict that Inter Milan Coach Jose Mourinho was the culprit. Although UEFA had observed that some of the actions of the Spanish Coach were suspicious, visual evidence showed that there was something cooking in his mind. Still photography has shown that a series of whispers were passed to Dudek and from Dudek to Casillas, who in-turn passed the message to Ramos and Alonso.
The Portuguese football manager, Jose Mario dos Santos Felix Mourinho, is widely known for his tremendous contribution to the game. He had been managing FC Barcelona, FC Porto, Chelsea and many other clubs. Under his supervision, Chelsea won two consecutive English premier league titles in 2005 and 2006. Despite his outspoken nature, he was also considered a, sharp minded manager. It was his strategic decision making ability that established him as one of the top football managers for his contribution to FC Porto and FC Chelsea. Additionally he had been named as the world’s best football manager, consecutively for 2004-2005 and 2005-2006 seasons, by International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS). Then he moved to Inter Milan in mid 2008 and after that joined Real Madrid on 28 May, 2010.
Arsenal’s coach, Arsene Wenger grabbed the opportunity to criticize Mourinho, saying that
Mourinho should be punished for the red cards scam”.
He also urged UEFA to punish Spanish players as Alonso and Ramos were found accused of time delaying tactics deliberately. Wenger said
“I have a respect for Real Madrid because of the quality of play but these things should not happen on a pitch whoever is responsible. Spectators spend money to watch a good match and not to watch these kinds of things. These things are just not acceptable.”
Tottenham player Defoe also reinforced Wenger’s reaction. Another interesting thing is that Arsenal are in a woeful run and after successful defeats in the UEFA league, they could face Real Madrid in the next round (if qualified). Jose Mourinho also replied harshly on the Wenger’s statement but the battle of words would end, once they both face each other on the pitch.
