Arsenal’s full-back, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Bacary-Sagna-c7148 is now back in full training following a collision with Assou-Ekotto, which saw his suffer a leg break earlier in the season.
French international Bacary Sagna has been missing in action for nearly four months now, after the defender went on to suffer a broken leg against Tottenham.
During http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429’s encounter with their arch rivals, Sagna went on to collide with Tottenham’s full back, Assou-Ekotto and fell awkwardly. This fall saw the player break his leg and get carried out on a stretcher.
However, it now seems like the defender might finally be on his way back to the starting eleven once gain.
While addressing his fans using his Twitter page, the defender informed everyone that he was finally practicing with the first team and that he was only days away from returning to the squad.
Sagna is quoted to have said: “Hello my friends hope you're all good and healthy...very exciting day for me as back to full training with the team for the 1st time.”
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Thomas-Vermaelen-c35002 also expressed his delight after finding out that Sagna was finally back on his legs again and he also used his Twitter account to congratulate the player.
The Belgian international stated: "Congrats to my mate @Sagnaofficial for his 1st session with the team after months of injury! Saw some good free kicks from you!! Keep it going!”
Sagna is not the only full back who has been missing in action for Arsenal over the last couple of months, the Gunners have been forced to adapt without Andre http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Santos-c32532, Carl Jenkinson, Gibbs and Sagna. In a rather ironic situation, the North London club saw all four of their full backs get injured and had to use their central defenders as replacements.
During the absence of these fullbacks, Arsenal saw their form dip tremendously. The team is currently on a three game losing streak and need to pick their form up as soon as possible.
This would have been hard to see happen, but with most of the first team now set to return in the near future, the Gunners could potentially still try and secure a top four finish after all.
