Arsenal’s Cesc Fabregas worth less than £35.5 million claims Barcelona president Sandro Rosell
Barcelona president, Sandro Rosell, has issued a warning statement to English Premier League giants, Arsenal, claiming that the market value of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 skipper Cesc Fabregas is not more than £35.5 million.
Despite the fact that the Catalan giants are desperate to bring their prodigal son back to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Spain-c3011, Rosell has dropped down the chance that they will ever lodge a transfer bid of more than £35.5 million.
Despite http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 failing to sign Fabregas last summer, they are still the firm favourites to lure the 24-year-old to Camp Nou this summer. Having appeared in over 300 matches for the Gunners since joining them at the age of 16, Fabregas has been strongly
linked with a move away from Emirates Stadium.
According to Rosell, Fabregas is doing everything he can do to convince Arsenal into letting him go for his former club. He accepted the fact that the transfer bid they tabled last summer was higher than £35.5 million, but insisted that Fabregas’ market
value has seen a major dip in the last year or so.
“Cesc is doing everything he can to come. Pep Guardiola knows the value of players and for Cesc it is less than £35.5m. Barcelona will offer less and if they don’t accept he won’t come.  I don't know if we will sign Cesc or not. What I have no doubt of is
that he really wants to come to Barca.” Rosell said in an interview.
Meanwhile, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is determined to hang-on on to his talisman, despite being well aware of Fabregas’ desire to move back to Barcelona.
“I don't know if we will sign Cesc or not. What I have no doubt of is that he really wants to come to Barca. I http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Captain-c8314 of Arsenal, I am a Gunner and it is there that I have become a player
and that I have matured as a person.” Fabregas said last year.
With Rosell revealing he will not spend madly this summer owing much to the club’s financial woes, Fabregas’ future remains hanging in the balance.
