Brazilian club Sao http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429, which will see Denilson spend another season with them.
The midfielder went on to play for Sao Paulo, all of last season, following him being loaned out to the team.
Denilson failed to secure a spot in the Arsenal starting eleven, despite having been with the team for more than four seasons. This made the player question his role in the club, which in turn helped him secure a loan deal with Sao Paulo in the first place.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Adalberto-c3511 Baptista, who is a director at the Brazilian club, when talking about the loan deal is quoted to have said: "Arsenal rightly did not want to let Denilson go at the beginning, because of his quality and his good campaign here"

"But fortunately, we spoke with Arsenal's directors and it was settled that the player will stay. I am sure that he will keep helping us a lot in this period."
The Brazilian had started off as a player in Sao Paulo and this is one of the reasons why he was more than happy to return to the team. However, he is now looking to improve on his form and performances, as he looks to help the team win a title or two this
season.
"I am very relieved, this is a big happiness. Now, I have to be even more focused and work hard to help Sao Paulo win titles again," said the midfielder.

"I am ready. I spent some days outside Sao Paulo to rest, so I am ready to get back on track and train with my team-mates. We have a very big game on Sunday."
This move seems to be in the best interest of both the player and the two clubs involved. Sao Paulo will be able to retain his services and build for the coming season, while Arsenal won’t have to worry about paying all his wages.
At the same time, should he get ample playing time, he would evolve as a player and this would help him secure first team football on his return to the Emirates.
