Arsenal forward and Ivory Coast international, Gervinho has gone on to state that he is highly disappointed with the way things have taken place at the Emirates.
When stating that, the player is referring to the departures of both Samir Nasri and Cesc Fabregas, which took place almost immediately after his move to the club. While, there have been no replacements in place for the players as yet.
At the same time, the former Lille player has also gone on to admit that he is still in shock over the departure of Nasri, since the player went on to promise Gervinho that he would not be leaving the Emirates this season.
A very disappointed Gervinho, when talking about Nasri is quoted to have said:"I wanted to play with Samir because he is a big player. His exit has left me in pain"
"He promised to be there this season - and then changed his mind.”
The forward then went on to admit that it was time to move on, since what has happened has happened. The player feels the Gunners need to adapt to life without the two talented midfielders.
"This is a different http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429. A new team without Nasri and Cesc. But we need to forget that and to turn the page.
"Now we must think only about the future."
However, having said that, Gervinho then went on to state that he hopes to play with the duo sometime in the future, since it was a shame that he never got the chance to do so at the Emirates.
The forward then went on to end by adding: "I would have liked to have played with Cesc and Samir. I like to play with great players and it's a shame.”
"One day I hope to have the opportunity to play with them again."
Arsenal have suffered a massive loss in the shape of the departures of both Nasri and Fabregas. In fact, the team’s suffering is now more apparent than it has ever been in the past. It is now up to the Gunners to try and pull together and head into a new
era with the team.
The Gunners are currently looking around to find suitable replacements for the players who have departed.
The next two days are going to be  a real test for the Gunners manager, Arsene Wenger, who will have to make some pretty drastic signings, or see his team suffer for the rest of the season, which could also see his legacy at the Emirates take a massive blow.
