Arsenal’s http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Jack-Wilshere-c17463 urges Manchester United to get in Barcelona’s face in the Champions League final
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604’s face, when the two sides meet in the UEFA Champions League final, on Saturday night.
The Champions of England and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Spain-c3011 are set to face off against each other, in what is a re-match of the finals of the 2009 UEFA Champions League. In the two teams encounter in Rome, Barcelona went on to beat the Red Devils by two goals to nil and in doing so, secure the Champions League crown.
Nonetheless, Wilshere strongly feels that Barcelona are a team, that can be beaten, should their opponents get their tactics right. Wilshere was a part of the Arsenal side, which lost to Barcelona in the round of sixteen this season. However, despite that fact, Arsenal beat the Catalans in the first leg encounter and Wilshere was praised by his opponents for his brilliant performances during the two legs.
When talking about Barcelona, the player is reported to have said: "The thing with Barca is three passes - bang, bang, bang - and they're through. So you have to get in their faces"
"You have to stop the players like Xavi, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Lionel-Messi-c22296 and Andres Iniesta who can just kill you.
"But if you can get in their faces they ease off in the second half and you really have to go for them."
The player then went on to add his personal opinions about the game and gave United some tips on how to beat the Spanish giants.
Wilshere added: "United have a better chance than we had. They have the likes of Ji-Sung Park and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Antonio-Valencia-c6345 who are runners and can stop players.
"United should use just http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Valencia-c40863 and Park helping out behind them.
"For most of it, though, they will be defending because that is what Barcelona make you do."
The advice that the young midfielder has given United, if anything is unexpectedly spot on. Barcelona are a team, that thrive on having possession and having ample space to move the ball about. However, should the team be denied these privileges, then they tend to resort to other tactics, in order to pick up the win.
However, as it stands, Barcelona’s back up options, just aren’t as good as their primary and should United get Barcelona to resort to their back up, tactics, the Red Devils might just end up being crowned European champions.
