Arsenal defender and French international Laurent Koscielny is looking to pick his form up and is hoping to end the Premier League season on a high, in order to go into the Euro2012 on top of things.
The defender had previously admitted to be struggling to adapt to life in the Premier League. However, it seems like he has come a long way from those days. The defender is now regarded as one of the best players at the Emirates and his performances have
been simply outstanding this season.
However, the player hopes to improve even further, so that he can produce a breathtaking performance for France, when he steps onto the pitch to represent his national side.
The twenty six year old defender is quoted to have said:
"The season is so long so if I do the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899 next year."
Koscielny played his first game for France last month, as he took on USA in a friendly match. The player has admitted that he was overwhelmed with being called up to the national team and that he was quite happy with how he performed during the game.
He added: "I am very happy. I waited for this for a little while and now I have it. I am happy because it is a big achievement for me. I have worked a lot with my club and with the national team, so now I want to continue to play with France.”
The Gunners defender has also revealed that he keeps in touch with his defensive partners, so that there is no lapse in communication when they meet and to help them get onto the pitch and get going almost immediately.
Koscielny has adapted to life in the Premier League, following his move from the French League. As a result, the player is more than aware of how to operate in two different leagues and this is going to be a massive benefit to him and his team, as they head
out into the Euro2012.
France have had a very disappointing run in the tournaments that they recently participated in. The team failed to get past the group stage in the World Cup in 2010 and they would be looking to wipe those memories, by putting up a breathtaking performance
in the Euro, this coming year.
