Samir Nasri's agent, Alain Migliaccio, has confirmed that his client will hold contract extension talks with Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger, in order to resolve the midfielder’s future at the Emirates Stadium.
Nasri, who joined Arsenal from Marseille in 2008, has been heavily linked with a move away from the north London as the French midfielder has only a year left on his contract. Nasri is yet to sign an extension with the Gunners.
Arsene Wenger also confirmed earlier this week that Nasri’s contract extension talks have stalled as the French international is demanding to become one of the highest paid players at the Emirates Stadium.
However, Nasri's agent revealed that the French midfielder is expected to resume contract extension talks with Arsene Wenger in the near future.
“I want to clarify that there has been no break with the Gunners over the contract's renewal and we should meet again soon with Arsene Wenger," told Alain.
The 23-year-old midfielder enjoyed a breakthrough year at the Emirates Stadium and was also named Arsenal’s Player of the season for his outstanding and consistent performances throughout the 2010/11 campaign.
It is believed that Arsenal’s failure to win any trophy in the past six years has prompted Nasri to seek a move to a club where he can fulfil his ambition of winning silverware. The midfielder is being strongly linked with the Gunners’ archrivals and Barclays
Premier League champions, Manchester United.

already held talks with United officials and the Frenchman has hinted to a move to Old Trafford.
Nasri said, “Do I want to go to Man United? Initially, we should see if it's http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Real-c30728 and if it is concrete.”
Likewise, Bayern Munich, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 and Manchester City are also reportedly keen on signing Nasri. However, the Frenchman’s agent admitted that a number of European clubs are interested to sign Nasri but the Frenchman has a contract running with
the London outfit and he wants to resolve his future with Arsenal first before starting talks with other clubs.
He added, “There are a few clubs interested in Samir, but it is useless to name them. Before listening to other teams, we need and we want to talk with Arsenal.”
Arsene Wenger is determined to keep Nasri at the Emirates Stadium and has claimed that he will leave no stone unturned to keep hold of the midfielder.
