Arsenal’s manager, Arsene Wenger, claims Gunners’ Japanese striker Ryo Miyaichi's future is bright
Arsenal’s manager, Arsene Wenger, has claimed that Gunners’ young winger, Ryo Miyaichi, has a bright future as the Frenchman was very impressed by Miyaichi’s progress and insisted that the Japanese striker may feature for Arsenal next season.
Ryo Miyaichi became the first Japanese player to sign with Arsenal after the 18-year-old penned a five-year contract with the North London club in January, 2011. Due to unavailability of work permit for UK, Miyaichi was loaned out to Dutch side, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Feyenoord-c39258,
for the rest of the season.
Ryo Miyaichi was a huge success at Feyenoord and was also named Feyenoord’s player of the season after he helped the Dutch club to finish in the top half of the League standings.
Arsene Wenger claimed that Ryo Miyaichi’s loan term at Feyenoord has been a successful story and insisted that the Japanese forward may get a starting berth at Arsenal next season.
“I have only [heard] positive reports about him. He will be with us in pre-season. I think he is good enough but if he is ready enough to have a place in our team, we will ask for a work permit and try to get him in”.
Arsene Wenger believes Ryo Miyaichi has what it takes to become one of the best forwards in the world of football.
The Gunners’ manager also hailed Miyaichi’s unfathomable success at Feyenoord and claimed that the Japanese forward is an intelligent player who knows how to use his pace.
“What I like about Ryo is that he has good timing with his runs and understands when to go and where to go. That is something very important. He is a boy who went straight from school football to professional football and straight away was the best player
in Feyenoord.”
Ryo Miyaichi is considered as a perfect replacement for Arsenal’s under-fire veteran left winger, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Andrei-Arshavin-c5771, who is not in good form lately.
Moreover, the Russian skipper is also linked with a move back to his childhood club, Zenit St. Petersburg, and it seems like Ryo Miyaichi will replace him at Arsenal.
