Arsene Wenger admits Arsenal might lose http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Samir-Nasri-c32360 in the summers – Premier League Update
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 manager, Arsene Wenger has gone ahead and stated that the Gunners should prepare for some more bad news. This is because the manager has claimed that Arsenal, might just be on the verge of losing out of French international Samir Nasri in the summers.
The reason for this is because the club and the player just can’t seem to agree on mutual terms over a new contract for the player. According to rumours, the midfielder is being offered as much as ninety thousand pounds a week, but, he wishes to be paid
the same amount as the team’s http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Captain-c8314, Cesc Fabregas.
As a result, the manager has stated that if the player and the club fail to reach a mutual agreement over his contract, the Gunners might just have to sell the player in order to avoid letting him leave for free, once his contract runs out.
Arsene Wenger, when talking about the player and his contract, is quoted to have said: “We have a financial disagreement which hasn't yet been settled. We are still in discussions but we haven't agreed a deal.”
When news of Nasri’s potential departure from Arsenal was released, Manchester United full-back, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Patrice-Evra-c29231 made some suggestions of his own. The defender came forth and stated that perhaps, Nasri should join Manchester United, since that way he could
reach his full potential and even win a trophy of two.
In response to these comments by Evra, Wenger made is quite clear that United would not be able to land the player, as he went on to state: “One thing's for sure, we're not selling him to United”
Looking at what Wenger has to say about Nasri, one can’t do anything but shake their head and be disappointed with the situation that Arsenal seem to have fallen into. After suffering a heartbreak of a season, the team seems to be in the search for more
pain and suffering in the summer transfer window.
Now, what we can say without a doubt, is that Nasri has been one of Arsenal’s standout performers for the last two seasons and based on that reasons alone, it isn’t wrong for the player to demand more than what the normal players at the club are being offered.
Should the team fail to comply with the player’s needs, he might just end up feeling underappreciated at the club and this could prove to be harmful for the Gunners. This is because the player would end up not performing to his full potential and in return,
his performances would take a major slump.
