Arsenal’s manager Arsene Wenger admits that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Thierry-Henry-c34918 had a dream return to the Gunners and hinted that he could ask the forward to come back again in the future.
Thierry Henry was brought back to the North London club as part of a loan deal in January and since then, the striker’s presence has been helping the team out.
The forward scored a match winner against Leeds United in his first game back in an Arsenal shirt and the striker went on to produce another magical moment in his last Premier League game.
With The Gunners being level with Sunderland in injury time, the Frenchman went on to volley from close range, as he gave the North London team a one goal lead in injury time.
In doing so, the striker helped Arsenal climb back up to the fourth spot in the league, as the team looks to claim a Champions League spot for the coming season.
Wenger, who seems to be on cloud nine because of Henry’s performances is quoted to have said: “He finished the story of the legend today in Premier League and I hope he can do the same in the Champions League on Wednesday”
“He got us the three points in a very difficult game. People say it might haunt me and why didn’t I sign him for longer. He shows you as well that these players never lose it. Exceptional talent survives.
The manager then hinted at a possible return for the striker, as he went on to add: “He has to go back to Red Bulls on Thursday but we will see next season. Maybe he might want to stop at some stage as well.”
Henry went on to help http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 pick up two crucial wins during his short spell with the team and those two wins have helped the team get into the fourth spot in the league, while keeping their hopes alive in their domestic cup competition.
Irrelevant of how the forward plays against AC Milan, what can be said assuredly, is that Henry just went on to enhance his legendary status at the club, during his short stay with the team.
