Arsene Wenger admits that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429’s game against Chelsea will be a real test for the team – Premier League Update
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has gone ahead and admitted that the Gunners trip to the Stamford Bridge, in order to take on http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 is going to be a real test for the team and their mentality.
The North London club started off the season in horrific fashion, as they went on to lose a number of their opening games. The team lost matches to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809, Tottenham Hotspur and even went on to suffer a humiliating defeat at the hands of Manchester United,
with the final score in that game reading eight goals to two in favour of United.
However, despite that fact, Arsenal have started to perform rather well in recent weeks and are now on a decent win streak. The new players that have been brought into the club seem to have finally gotten their act together and are now looking to push the
team back into the top four, as the team looks to secure a Champions League spot.
Despite having made it into the quarter final stage of the Carling Cup and being on top of their Champions League group, the Gunners boss isn’t showing any signs of optimism going into the game against Chelsea, as he believes it is going to be the first
big test his side have to face, ever since they picked their form back up. “I believe that we have grown as a team compared with one month ago," he told the club's official website.
“Now we face the real tests of our quality and, of course, that is where we want to show that we have improved. That's what is at stake at the moment.
“A positive result would demonstrate that we are ready to compete at the top again. That is what we want to achieve of course and we will give absolutely everything to do well in this game. We will have a go.”
“Chelsea are up there, they have quality, and for me at Manchester United they showed that quality.”
Going into the game, the Gunners are going to be offered some good news as http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Didier-Drogba-c11044 is going to be missing in action for
the Blues and this is going to be a massive boost for the club.
It is now going to be a wait till Saturday to see just how the Gunners perform against their London rival.
