Arsene Wenger believes Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Theo Walcott have different prospects at Arsenal
Following the signing of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Theo-Walcott-c34873. The primary reasons behind that argument being the fact that both the players came from Southampton
and have spent a majority of their career playing on the wings.
However, despite that fact, Arsene Wenger strongly believes that both the players have very different prospects at http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 and neither is going to be playing like the other. The manager admits that he sees just why people would try and pair the two players
together, but he has remained insistent over the fact that there is a vast difference between the two.
When talking about the basic difference between the two players, Wenger is reported to have said: "They are quite similar types of players but Walcott is a bit more a striker and Oxlade-Chamberlain is more a midfielder"
The manager then went on to highlight the physicality and mindset of the two players, as he added:

"He [Oxlade-Chamberlain] likes more to be in the build-up of things and Walcott is more a guy who makes intelligent runs.

"So they are not that similar as players but they have some similarities physically already. They look the same size, the same type of player.”
The manager then ended by admitted that in the future, Walcott could be more of a striker to the club, while on the other hand Chamberlain is more than likely to be a central midfielder and that in itself explains just how different the two players really
are.
"But I believe that Oxlade-Chamberlain could be a central midfielder one day and Walcott a central striker one day.

"That shows the difference between the two players."
The manager seems to have destroyed any and all rumours, which claimed that both Walcott and Chamberlain are identical players. It is pretty common for many to assume that if two players come from the same youth set-up and play in a similar position, then
they have to be identical players.
That is definitely not the case with Walcott and Chamberlain. Walcott, as Wenger stated relies a lot on his intellect and pace to get past players, while Chamberlain is a bit more physical and opts to pass a lot more than Walcott.
Nonetheless, just how good Chamberlain really is will be displayed tonight as the player is set to receive his first start for Arsenal in the League Cup.
