Arsene Wenger believes http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Bacary-Sagna-c7148 - Premier League Update
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has come forth and admitted that he feels the team can cope perfectly, during the absence of Bacary Sagna.
The French international was part of the Arsenal side that took on Tottenham in the Premier League, but unfortunately for the player, he managed to fracture his leg during the game and as a result is set to be missing in action for the next three months.
With Sagna easily being one of the best and most consistent players in the Gunners squad, many have now questioned Wenger, over just who might fill in for the player, since the team don’t really have a second experienced right-back.
However, the manager seems to be playing the cool card as he feels Carl Jenkinson could be a worthy replacement for the player. At the same time, Wenger might even be tempted to play http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Laurent-Koscielny-c21742 in that position, considering the experience that the
player possesses.
When talking about his potential decisions on who to field during the game, Wenger is quoted to have said:  “I think it is more down to Jenkinson because [Francis] Coquelin has never been at ease as a right back.
“He is not somebody who likes to play at right back and his confidence is not high there.

“We have Jenkinson and we have Koscielny who has been educated as a right back. Djourou can play there too. Koscielny was always a right back, so he can play there.”
The manager then went on to highlight Andre Santos, as he admitted the Brazilian international’s experience might help him be the ideal replacement for Sagna, during his absence.
“Even [Andre] http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Santos-c32532 can play there I think so we have plenty of possibilities.”
This is not the first time that Arsenal have had a number of their key players pick up injuries that have seen them get sidelined for a number of months and it certainly won’t be the last.
Wenger has ample experience in shuffling the team around and getting the best out of what he has, but that doesn’t mean the team  has performed exceptionally well during the absence of their key players.
Arsenal currently have the likes of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Thomas-Vermaelen-c35002 out to lengthy injuries and with another key player picking up such a serious knock, it seems like the team is going to have to push itself to try and get the most out of their games.
They way the season has been going for the Gunners, it seems like things just keep going from bad to worse for them and it is now up to the team to show their character, as they try and overcome the catastrophe that their season has become.
