The Frenchman was also of the opinion that what would Messi’s personal accolades collection say, were he to move to another club. Wenger believed that it would be much difficult for Messi to replicate his current form in another side.

Wenger also stated that Messi had achieved everything he could with the Catalans and has beaten all the numbers and the oldest of records.
“He has won absolutely everything he can at club level, and beaten all the numbers. Could he be the same player somewhere else?” he said in an interview with French TV station BeIn Sport.

the Catalans, just like the departure of the little Argentinean.
“But, I reverse it, would Barca be the same without Messi? Certainly not, they quickly would become much more normal.”
Messi has gone on to achieve the glorious feat of scoring 82 goals so far in this calendar year and looks all set to beat the record of Gerd Muller whose record tally stands at 85 goals.
