Arsene Wenger believes consistency is key to Arsenal’s title dreams
Arsenal’s manager, Arsene Wenger has challenged his young squad to try to deliver consistency for the remainder of the season. This challenge came soon after the team went on to defy the odds and beat Chelsea. As a result, the
Gunners went on to cement their spot in the season’s title contenders list and they will be looking to continue their hot streak on Wigan.
The win against Chelsea proved to be the end to a long running curse, as Arsenal had not managed to beat Chelsea over the course of their previous five meetings. However, a more than convincing three goals to one win was all it
took to convince everyone that Arsenal were finally the real deal and that they were no longer the pushovers they were believed to be.
Arsene Wenger is reported to have said, "The win over Chelsea keeps us in touch with the top teams, and also what is very important as well is that it can strengthen the belief we will have our say in this championship"
“The most consistent team will make it in the end, and that is what is at stake."
He then went on to add, "Let's see if we can turn up with a fantastic performance now on Wednesday night."
Arsenal, however, happen to have no time on their hands to revel in their victory over Chelsea as they are scheduled to travel to the DW Stadium later on today. The team will also be without Cesc Fabregas, who happened to pick
up his fifth yellow card in his last outing and is now going to serve a one-match ban, in the game against Wigan.
Wenger is also well aware of the fact that his team is now just three points behind league leaders, Manchester United. That being said, Wenger has also conveyed his team that there is no margin of error at the moment and his team
needs to continue their hot streak, if they are to prove to everyone that they are true title contenders.
Wenger has gone ahead and stated that he is looking to make a number of changes to the team that is going to take on Wigan, in hopes of accommodating the missing Fabregas and to give some of the players a rest.

One player on the Arsenal side, who will be looking to be a part of the starting line up once again, is http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Theo-Walcott-c34873. The player was highly impressive against Chelsea and seems to have proved to the manager that he is back to his
best and that his potential should not go untapped. The player already managed to sit on the sidelines for two months after picking up an injury, while he was away on international duty. However, now, it seems the player is back to his best and is itching
to go at it.
