Arsene Wenger claims Arsenal to end season with all guns blazing
Arsenal’s manager, Arsene Wenger, has gone on to state that despite falling out to Bolton, his team would still gun it out for the remainder of the season and this is despite the fact that his team have the slimmest of margins to lift the Premiership title
at the end of the season.
Prior to the weekend matches, Wenger went on to state that his side had to win all five of their remaining games if they were to win the race to the top of the Premier League table.
However, following a 90th minute goal by Bolton’s http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Tamir-Cohen-c34618, those dreams and aspirations are potentially shattered.
Wenger being a believer is doing what any manager should and is urging his team to show just what they are capable of and take that outside chance that they are riding on.
When talking about the future and the game against Bolton, Wenger is quoted to have said:
"The chances are very minimal now, that is for sure, but we have to continue to fight. We dropped too many points. It is very frustrating because we should have come home with nine points this week and we came back with two. It's a bit the story of our season".
Going into the game Arsenal were on the back of draws, which they suffered at the hands of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 and Tottenham. The team was expected to bounce back against Bolton, but clearly that didn’t happen.
However, instead of trying to push some of the blame on the players, the manger has come to their aid and stated that the only person to blame, was Wenger himself.
Arsenal’s manager is reported to have said: "I feel the players have had an outstanding attitude this season. They are not to blame. If somebody is to blame, it's me. I pick the team”.
It seems Arsene Wenger is finally starting to realize that perhaps there might be a flaw in his style of management. The manager has gone on to spend too much time trying to develop young players and has not really made an effort to bring in experienced
and seasoned players.
Nonetheless, all the blame cannot fall on the manager’s shoulders alone. This is because almost every game that Arsenal have gone on to draw, has seen them concede a number of late goals, after taking the lead in the game and the players attitude is nothing
to envy either.
On a number of occasions the players seem to be making a half hearted attempt to play and with the exception of a few players, it is a wonder as to how some of the players even made the cut to play in the team.
At the moment the best that Arsenal can do, is to go out with all guns blazing and hope for the best and in all honesty there isn’t anything else that the team can do either.
It might be the sixth year that Arsenal have gone on to end without lifting any silverware, but it is a season that has probably helped the team mature the most.
