Arsene Wenger considering gambling with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 squad against Olympiakos
It is being reported that Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is more than likely to take a massive gamble, as he fields a very young side against Olympiakos in the Champions League.
The manager has made a name for himself over the last couple of seasons, after fielding youngsters time and time again and it seems like the manager might not have any other option this time around.
Arsenal are currently missing ten players due to injuries and hence, Wenger is going to be turning to the younger Gunners at the club to step their game up and take to the lime light.
Wenger is believed to be favouring http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Marouane-Chamakh-c24294 and/or Park up front, in order
to give http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Robin-van-Persie-c31380 a much needed rest.
It is not clear what the manager wants to do about http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Jack-Wilshere-c17463 and Yossi
Benayoun and hence it is crucial for Arsenal to have that one talented player in the middle of the park. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Aaron-Ramsey-c3065 is more than likely to feature in the midfield, unless Wenger looks to bring in some reserve players in hopes to see just how they fit into
the squad.
Despite that fact, the main concern that Arsenal are going to have is in the heart of their defence. With so many first team defenders being injured and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Laurent-Koscielny-c21742 picking up a knock during training, it seems like Miquel might be given his first ever
Champions League start. The youngster has proven that he has what it takes to play alongside the Gunners first team, but he is yet to play in a European competition.
Nonetheless, should Wenger accommodate these youngsters into the squad, they might just go on and earn themselves a permanent spot in the Arsenal starting eleven - which could only happen if they manage to impress during the time they spend on the pitch.
