Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger has defended the business model that the club have running, but believes the team’s inability to hold their star players has affected them negatively.

Based on how poorly Arsenal have been playing all season long, many believe that it is down to the teams poor business model, that has let the team down.
However, Wenger believes that there is nothing wrong with the model the team has going and believes that since no one is sure what is wrong with the team, they are blaming the clubs foundations.
The Gunners boss is quoted to have said: "What is unbelievable is that we run the model that should be absolutely normal and we look crazy. That is crazy"
"People will do anything stupid, but we are not crazy, we are all right. We spend one [pound] if we make one and [then people say] 'what are they doing?' That is what is absolutely mad in our world, but the whole world is bankrupt because of that."
However, the manager did go on to agree that it was his team’s inability to hold players that had been costing them on a number of occasions, while the constant injuries to their key players had also caused a number of problems to the team.
The Frenchman then went on to add: "Last year we were very close to the top and there was a rupture in the building of our team with losing [captain Cesc] Fabregas [to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604], Nasri [to Manchester City] and [Jack] Wilshere [to injury]"
Had http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 managed to keep hold of their star players, while avoiding injuries to others, the team would have easily been competing with the best of the best.
Nonetheless, despite Wenger having faith in the North London club’s  business model, the manager needs to realize that the time has come for the club to invest in well developed players. The team has been investing in younger players for quite some time
now and that has not been working very well for the club.club or not.
However, it is now up to Wenger to decide just what he wants to do and whether he wants to mix things up at the club.
