Arsene Wenger expresses his love for Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas and wants him to stay
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 manager Arsene Wenger has gone on to express his love for Gunners captain, Cesc Fabregas and has admitted that he would love to see the player stick around at the Emirates.
The Spanish international and World Cup winner has been pursued by Barcelona for three years and this time around, the Catalans went on to make three bids for the player. All three of those bids were not up to Arsenal’s evaluation of the player and were
hence turned down, repeatedly.
Fabregas couldn’t participate with the Arsenal squad in the pre season, due to the fact that he injured his hamstring. However, this past Friday, he went on to take to the field with the rest of his squad in a training session.
The midfielder has since then gone on to re inure himself, as he is going to be missing out on Arsenal’s trip to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Portugal-c2984, as they take on Benfica in a pre season friendly.
With many assuming that the player has been left out due to his move to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 finally being on the cards, Wenger has gone on to confirm that he just needs time to recover and that there is no deal with Barcelona, as yet.
"He is just coming back from injury and is not ready to play in a game, but he is not injured," Wenger said in a press conference in Lisbon, according to the club's official website.

"I do not want to speak about the transfer of Fabregas because I have done that three years now in every press conference so I don't think there is any more need to add something.”
Wenger then made it very simple that he loved the midfielder and didn’t want him to part ways with the club.

"I love Fabregas and I want him to stay, that is basically it.”
The manager then ended by stating that it was impossible to stop people from assuming stuff and raise questions, since that was just a natural thing to do.

"Everybody is free to think what they want. We cannot stop people raising questions."
This Fabregas saga has now gotten most to get fed up with both Barcelona and Fabregas. The Catalans want the player, but don’t want to pay the sufficient price to land him. On the other hand, Fabregas needs to realize that for all the love that Barcelona
are showing, there has to be some reason for them holding back on going over the top to land the player.
