Arsene Wenger feels Arsenal can win quadruple
Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger has come forward and stated that he strongly believes that his side is capable of winning the quadruple at the end of the season. The manager made these comments only a day before his side faces League
One outfit, Leyton Orient in the FA Cup.
The manager further added that because of the belief that he has in the team, he is going to try to get the most out of every player and hence everyone could expect to see an almost full-strength Arsenal squad, when they take on
Orient.
Wenger is reported to have said, "We want to go for every single competition. How far will we go? I personally believe we can go in every competition to the end. But we can as well stop very quickly."
"It's just down to how much we believe and how much commitment we show. What I am convinced of is that we have the hunger and we have some talent and we are committed to going as far as we can."
At the moment, Arsenal is the only team that can at least theoretically win the quadruple at the end of the season. The team is set to play in the final of the Carling Cup and has also managed to beat Barcelona in the first leg
of their Champions League tie.
Arsenal are still in the title race, with only four points separating them from the league leaders, Manchester United. For these very reasons, Wenger strongly feels that his side can go all the way in every competition that his
team is a part of.
The manager added that the team would maintain its respect in front of their fans when they take on Orient, this Sunday. Wenger insisted that in order to maintain their dominance, they cannot take even a single game lightly and
the best way to prove this would be to defeat Orient exactly as they thrashed http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38605.
The manager said that he believed in giving some of the team’s top players a rest, but he was not looking to exclude all of his top players in the upcoming encounter. Despite both the sides being leagues apart, the match was still
of utmost importance to the club.
Currently, Arsenal are potentially in contention to land all four titles by the end of the season. The team has managed to show great determination, courage and character this season and to possess all the strength required to
win the four trophies.
Nonetheless, it would be much easier to see where the team stands at the end of next month, as by then Arsenal would have already played the Carling Cup final and their second-leg with Barcelona.
