Arsene Wenger hails Arsenal’s Park Chu Young – Premier League Update
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 manager Arsene Wenger has gone on to hail Park Chu Young and has admitted that the forward can do just about anything on the football pitch.
The Gunners went on to sign Park from Monaco on the last day of the transfer window and since have not utilized the player’s abilities. So far it was believed that the striker’s lack of experience and inability to understand the English game was the reason
for him being left out on the sidelines. However, it now seems like Wenger is finally ready to hand the striker the start that he has been longing for, as the manager has showered a lot of praise onto the Korean captain.
The manager has admitted that the twenty six year old is going to prove to be a worthy addition to the squad and he can’t wait for him to join up with the team and help the squad out with the experience that he has gained over the years.
When talking about the talented forward, Wenger in quoted to have said: “Park is good in every area”
The manager then went on to highlight the player’s technical abilities and his ability to be versatile when he is required to.
“He is good in the air, good technically, he is mobile and that’s why he is an adaptable striker who can play up front behind the striker.”
“That’s why we went for him. What I like with him is that he is very mobile and that’s the basis of our game.”
Wenger was previously managing in the Japanese league before being signed by Arsenal. As a result, the manager is well aware of the culture and the quality of players that the region can produce and this was one of the reasons behind the manager making a
move for Park, almost immediately after finding out about his availability.
“Their culture is very collective and once they get the technical level they are very at ease in a sport where, in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749, you need commitment, focus and team attitude. Their culture is well suited to that.”
With the forward being put away during the Premier League and Champions League games, it is strongly believed that he will now be taking to the field when Arsenal play host to Shrewsbury town in the League cup later tonight.
This match is going to be considered to be a test for the forward, who if successful, could see himself feature in the Premier League this coming weekend.
