During the game, the Gunners finally looked to be the team that the fans expected them to be. The team seemed to be fluid while attacking and seemed to be unusually stable at the back.

The Frenchman admits that scoring seven goals was good for the team’s confidence, but he was more concerned with picking up a win in the game.
The Gunners boss is quoted to have said: "I do not give much importance to the seven goals, it is just we won and played well"
"I felt that recently we had quite good performances but did not get the results.
"Today we got the performance and the result, which is ideally what you want."
The manager then went on to praise the team’s maturity and sense of seriousness in the game. Having picked only one point from their last four games, a win was vital for the team’s self confidence.
Arsene Wenger then ended on a high, as he praised all aspects of the team’s performance.
"We remained serious and were guided by the way we want to play football and not by any extravagant individualism.”
"We were mature and serious, we played together until the end."
Should Arsenal maintain the form that they displayed against Blackburn and continue to play in the same manner, the North London club could easily end up making its way into the top four, as they look to secure a Champions League spot for the coming season.
