The Arsenal manager has made it clear that the Gunners are not done with their summer transfer window business and they are looking at more transfer targets to add to their squad for the upcoming Premier League season...
Arsene Wenger has poured cold water over the suggestions that Arsenal are done with their transfer deals for the summer transfer window period as he iterated in his latest press conference that the Gunners are looking to add to
their squad.
Wenger is currently dealing with two issues in his squad as both http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Robin-van-Persie-c31380 and Theo Walcott are looking like possible departures from the club as far as the current transfer window is concerned. Van Persie’s situation looks
precarious as he did not travel with the club to their pre-season tour of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/China-c8926 and it is thought that Manchester City are front runners to sign the Dutchman.
Manchester United also appear to be interested in the Arsenal striker who was impressive in the recently concluded league season as he took Arsenal to a UEFA Champions League qualification spot courtesy of his consistent goal scoring
record. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Theo-Walcott-c34873 is negotiating a new contract with the North London club as well as he is set to enter into the last year of his current deal at the Emirates stadium.
Arsene Wenger said, "You see I have come here to say as little as possible! I am ready to talk a lot, but not a lot about transfers, because it is a very fragile subject and a very secret subject. We bought Giroud and Podolski
and I hope that we bought [Abou] Diaby and [Jack] Wilshere too, who didn't play at all last season.”
He added, “We will add Wilshere to the squad as soon as possible. But we are not at the end of [the transfer window] - we will still bring players in." http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Santi-Cazorla-c32505 from Malaga as it is rumoured
that he will be a good fit into the style of football that Wenger believes in.
Arsene Wenger will definitely want to add to his current crop of players but he has always been a shrewd operator in the summer transfer window. Funds might open up for him to do some business if Van Persie’s move to either Manchester
City or United is sorted out before the end of the transfer window.
