Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger has hinted that he could extend New York Red Bull’s forward, Thierry Henry’s stay at the Emirates.
The striker went on to make a high profile return to the Emirates from the NYRB, who allowed him to link up with his former team on loan during the MLS’s off season.
The thirty four year old came in the team last month and since then has managed to make five appearances off the bench for the club. In those five appearances, he went on to score twice for the team, including a match winner against Leeds United.
Henry also scored a goal in stoppage time against Blackburn http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Rovers-c40385 last night, as he helped Arsenal end their game with the final score reading seven goals to one in favour of the North London club.
When talking about the possibility of the striker sticking around for a little longer, Wenger is quoted to have said: "There is the possibility of two more weeks, but we will have to see”
If Henry does end up sticking around for another two weeks, he could potentially participate in his last ever North London derby, as Arsenal look to take on Tottenham Hotspur near the end of the month.
Apart from hinting at Henry’s extended stay at the club, Wenger also admitted that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Robin-van-Persie-c31380 was an exceptional striker, whose ability has helped out Arsenal on a number of occasions this season.
When talking about the Dutch international, Wenger is quoted to have said: "He is an exceptional player"
"His skills should be shown at every football school. His movement is fantastic."

The team has quality on the pitch and on the bench and this has really been a massive boost for the club.
Nonetheless, with all the Gunners fans hoping for Henry to stick around for a little longer, it is safe to assume that Wenger us going to do his best to ensure the striker’s stay at the club.
