Arsene Wenger hopes the captains at Arsenal can help guide the team back to the top – Premier League Update
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is looking towards the numerous international captains that he has brought into the club to help the team get back to their winning ways. Apart from that, the manager feels that the experience that he has invested in is going
to be enough to help the team get back to its best once again.
Almost every player that Wenger signed in the summers is either a captain for their national team or was a captain for the team that they previously played for. Park Chu Young, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Per-Mertesacker-c29680 have all had their fair share
of games, playing as captains. Hence the manager feels the team has the mentality needed to stabilize the squad and cruise out of the storm that the Gunners seem to be stuck in.
When talking about his signings and what he expects from his team in the near future, Wenger is quoted to have said:  “Sometimes we are reproached for not having enough captains in our squad, now we have plenty”
Wenger then admitted that the new level of experience that the team have, is going to prove to be crucial in the dying stages of the season and could prove to make or break the team.
“Overall we have more experience and this could be important if we are in a strong position should we have interesting challenges in March or April. That could have a big part to play.”
The manager then ended by stating that his new signings showed the critics just what he was capable of and that he had great belief in the team and knows just what they are capable off.
"We got criticised a lot last season for not getting over the line, but I believe that we were so close, so, so close that it was unbelievable to accept.
“In every position you always have number one, two and three, knowing there is a not a lot between them.
“I have great belief in the players I bought in and I am convinced they will prove me right.”
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 currently need their experienced players to step up to the plate and prove just what they are made of. The North London club is currently sitting in the fifteenth spot in the league table and need to get their act together, sooner rather than later.
Should Arsenal’s experience shine on, the team could leap over the slump that they have fallen in. However, should the team fail to work together, then this could prove to be one of the worst seasons in the team’s recent history.
